Mark Chew
Mark has over 20 years of experience working in high technology, fast
paced Silicon Valley industries. Most recently, he was the former VP of
Operations at enCommerce, Inc. with operational infrastructure responsibilities
such as Purchasing, Information Technology, Facilities, and Travel. Mark joined
enCommerce in its infancy in 1995 and saw its growth to a company of more than
150 employees. In 2000, enCommerce was acquired by Entrust, Inc. Mark played a
key role in the acquisition process and the M&A activities. Working closely
with a team from Entrust, he led enCommerce's infrastructure integration efforts
and stayed on through the transition period. Prior to joining enCommerce, he
has held executive level management positions in engineering, training, and
facilities. Mark holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from
UC Berkeley and a MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern
California.
Cindy Arthur
Cindy has more than 20 years of varied Human Resources experience.
She has specialized in working with emerging companies. She is experienced in
all areas of Human Resources including Staffing, Benefits design and
administration, Compensation, Management Training, and Employee Relations. Her
breadth of industry experience includes Internet start-ups, high tech, defense,
and advertising. Prior to founding MC2 Associates, Cindy held high-level Human
Resources positions at Four Phase Systems, Corvus Systems, and Texas
Instruments. She also established a successful independent consulting business.
Cindy is a certified compensation professional and a member of SHRM and NCHRC.
She graduated from San Jose State University with Great Distinction and has
attended the Masters of Business Administration Program at Santa Clara
University.
Chris Salazar
Chris brings more that 20 years of diverse finance and accounting
experience to MC2 Associates. She has worked for a variety of companies ranging
from early stage incubating companies, consulting firms to defense contractors.
She has held many senior positions, which required her to work with all levels
of management. Chris' expertise is her ability to manage the day-to-day
operations of the finance and accounting organization in addition to completing
complex projects as needed in a timely and accurate manner. Chris provides an
innovative and proactive attitude to business activities. Her strong background
is based on hands-on experience, which allows a thorough understanding of how
businesses work. Recently she held a senior-level management position with a
pre-IPO company that was acquired. In this capacity, she was responsible for
all the accounting and finance functions. This included setting up the
accounting systems, establishing policies & procedures, cash management, general
accounting, CPA audit support, financial planning and reporting and managing the
Accounting staff. She played a key role in the acquisition by supporting the
due diligence process and coordinating the merger of the Accounting departments
and tasks.
